A festival is an event ordinarily celebrated by a community and centering on some characteristic aspect of that community and its religion or traditions, often marked as a local or national holiday, mela etc. Dera Baba Bhuman Shah Officially celebrates 4 major historic festival related to Baba Bhuman Shah and Baba Sri Chand Ji.
The four main festivals celebrated at the Dera are as below mentioned :
1. Nirwan Diwas of Baba Bhuman Shah Ji Maharaj on 13th of Poush Month of Vikramee Samwat.
2. Birth Anniversary of Baba Shri Chand Ji Udaseen (elder son of Guru NanakDev) is celebrated on Bhado Shudi Navmi.
3. The birth anniversary of Baba Bhuman Shah Ji Maharaj is celebrated on 2nd of Vaisakh (14th April every year).
4. Maghi Mela, which is celebrated on the 1st of Magh Vikramee Samwat.
Note: Every month a Satsang (holy discourses) is held in the Dera at 10 a.m. on every Purnima. On this day different types of Medical camps are also organized for the poor and needy.
